Eligibility Criteria

Our Dual Vocational Education and Training (VET) program offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while receiving formal education in your chosen field. To ensure that you get the most out of this program, we have established specific eligibility criteria. Please review the requirements below to determine if you qualify for the Dual VET program.

1. Educational Requirements:

  • Higher Secondary Certificate or Equivalent: Applicants must have successfully completed higher  secondary education or completion of grade 12 in the respective educational boards.
  • Relevant Coursework: Completion of relevant coursework or vocational subjects during high school is advantageous but not mandatory.

2. Age Requirements:

  • Minimum Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
  • Maximum Age: While there is no strict upper age limit, the program is primarily designed for individuals seeking to enter the workforce for the first time.

3. Language Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in the Local Language: Since the program involves both classroom instruction and workplace training, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the local language (e.g., German for programs in Germany, Swedish for programs in Sweden).
  • Language Assessment: Applicants may be required to take a language proficiency test or provide proof of language skills (e.g., language certificates).

4. Motivation and Commitment:

  • Personal Statement: A personal statement or essay outlining your motivation for joining the Dual VET program, your career goals, and how the program aligns with your aspirations.
  • Interview: Selected applicants may be invited to participate in an interview to assess their commitment and suitability for the program.

5. Work Authorization:

  • Legal Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the country where the program is offered. This includes necessary work permits or visas if applicable.

6. Health and Fitness:

  • Medical Clearance: Some programs, especially those in physically demanding fields, may require a medical clearance to ensure that applicants are fit to perform the duties associated with the apprenticeship.

7. Additional Requirements:

  • Background Check: A background check may be conducted as part of the application process, depending on the industry and employer requirements.
  • Recommendations: Letters of recommendation from teachers, employers, or mentors who can speak to your qualifications and suitability for the program.
